New! Presentation Options and Workshops
New this year, in addition to posters and traditional 15 minute oral presentations, we are offering a third presentation format – 3 Minutes @ Mines! This oral presentation is shorter and focuses on delivering a concise presentation to a broad audience.
To help prepare presenters for the Winter Meeting, CMI is hosting 3 virtual workshops hosted by Dr. Jacqui Weeks, communication specialist and founder of Word Tree Consulting, covering how to give a good presentation and convey your message effectively.
All CMI Team members and Affiliates are welcome to join these workshops and presenters are highly encouraged to attend the workshop that aligns with their presentation.
Abstracts due Friday, December 12, for full consideration
The Winter Meeting showcases the work of current CMI students and early career researchers (0-3 years post graduation only). If you are in this group, you are encouraged to submit an abstract. Please note that PIs are not eligible to present on behalf of their students or researchers.
Abstracts (limited to one per person) are due Friday, December 12, at midnight, MST. Late submissions will be accepted until Monday, December 15, at Noon, MST, subject to space availability. Acceptance notifications and instructions will be sent by Friday, December 19.
