On February 19, 2019 in celebration of National Engineers Week, prospective students toured the Center for SPACE lab and the critical materials exhibit at the Mines Geology Museum. In the afternoon Mines alumni from Lockheed Martin came to campus to mentor prospective students about the benefits of a STEM degree from Mines and about the exciting research going on in the materials and aerospace industries.
